Ceduna ICT review 9/12/08 > 10/11/08

As part of the work I am doing with the Ceduna ICC I travelled to the region and did an ICT review of 5 local indigenous non profits and 4 of the remote communities. The aim of this review is to gauge where the communities are at and what help I can give them to improve services. It was clearly highlighted during the trip that they are being forgotten about in regards to infrastructure and left to battle with whatever they can which is usually a satellite connection (even though the local exchange is quite cpapable of ADSL services). I will put together a report for the ICC and this will be discussed in March at the ICT expo we are putting together.
